Marketing and Communication Programme

The Programme is geared to routinely provide marketing and communication support the work programmes of the technical departments of the Bureau through education and sensitisation of  stakeholders on the standards and services offered by the organisation.

  • Specifically, the Department conducts the following activities:
    1. Execute Media Relations activities such as issuing Press Releases, Notices, Arranging and hosting of Press Conferences, Media Briefings, Interviews, etc.)
    2. Produce and publish audio and visual materials for Television, Radio, Newspapers and Specialized groups.
    3. Coordinate of the Bureau’s participation in trade shows and other special events such as competitions, trade fairs, career fairs, lectures, National Quality Week and other national and international observances.
    4. Publish standards, articles, newsletters, bulletins on highlighting the latest developments and activities of the various programmes of the Bureau.
    5. Develop and disseminate of promotional materials including folders, conversion charts, flyers, factsheets, posters etc.
    6. Manage and update GNBS website and Social media.
    7. Conduct marketing campaigns and market research

Stakeholders are encouraged to keep abreast with the information provided through the various media under this programme. This information usually includes crucial consumer tips and tips for business to improve their products and services.
