It is our job to inform and be informed.

The main function of the Marketing and Communication Department is to provide programme support for the technical departments through the promotion and sensitisation of stakeholders including businesses, consumers and the general public on the Bureau’s mandate and services. Within this Department, there are two programmes/units:

  1. Marketing and Communication Programme
  2. Technical Standards Information Unit

These units work collaboratively under the umbrella of the Marketing and Communication Department, utilizing the various media and strategies to promote the available standards and the GNBS services, and acquire the feedback that helps the organisation better meet the needs of its stakeholders.
